Christina Wang was trained as an English Language and Literature teacher.

Subsequently she was a jeweller for 30 years with her father, representing Singapore in the World Gold Council’s international design competition in Italy. For this she won the gold award. Her design incorporated the old in tradition, carrying with it the new in the present and hope for the future.

The design reflected how we carry things from the past, both in richness and in poverty; how these impact us in the present, and in giving us a valued and awarded future. She had designed many pieces of jewellery, enjoying the creative process and the connections with those she designed for; receiving the finished pieces with joy, releasing them with greater joy in not being attached to them.

In life we eat, we enjoy, we cry, we love. With right attachments. Yet having the courage to hold onto our sacred selves.

Over the past 18 years, Christina has brought wholeness through the retreats and workshops she had conducted, both in Singapore and in other countries. Her background as a teacher and her experience in spiritual healing has helped Christina in the design and development of Panis; to touch hearts, touch lives.
